As an approved training practice we undertake the training of health care professionals and people intending to become health care professionals, including fully qualified doctors training to become GPs.
GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors in their last year of training before entering general practice. The practice employs a new registrar each year.
Foundation Year Doctors (FY2) are with the practice for four months at a time. They are fully qualified doctors who may go on to become GP’s or decide to specialise in other areas of healthcare.
Medical Students are also present at the surgery from time to time. Please help to make them feel welcome. However, if you do not wish the student to be present please let us know and your wishes will be respected.
